Don't know if this adds up.

Seems like the emerging policy is: you people out there are responsible for setting up your own governments, but if the US doesn’t like who ends up in charge we’ll just assassinate or kidnap them and then the ball is back in your court.
Vikings fans are absolutely not okay. Never okay.
A message from the Wonderwall
5/ So I started thinking: how can I honor the *reason* for the moment, the flat-out heroism, while also broadening the appeal and timelessness? So I decided to find the most timeless sentiment I could & adapt the flag icon to the moment. Here’s the current version and the riff:
It’s not just Medicaid funding they’re withholding to MN. It’s food assistance, child care assistance, social services, job training, safety testing, public health, disaster relief. SNAP. Free lunch for kids in school.
They hate us for loving our neighbors, and are collectively punishing us for it.
We didn’t vote the way he wanted. Our governor ran for vp. We love and protect our immigrant neighbors.
But they shouldn’t kidnap us, shoot us, defund medical care, or terrorize our neighborhoods.
We are stronger than we should have had to become.
We just want to be weirdos who are left alone.
“Shah Alam’s death comes just 15 months after his arrival in Buffalo in December 2024. He is survived by his wife and two sons.” Border Patrol leaves nearly blind, non-English-speaking refugee to die in the winter cold a few miles from his home
“The Justice Department has withheld some Epstein files related to allegations that President Trump sexually abused a minor, an NPR investigation finds.” www.npr.org/2026/02/24/n...
My uncle, Diego, was kidnapped and deported by ICE as he was delivering pizza in December. He had a work visa and was the co-owner of American Pie. This go fund me will go towards helping bring him back home, legal fees, rent and necessities, and support for the small business.

We’re still seeing ICE a lot in the suburbs, following legal observers to their homes, and holding tons of our neighbors at Whipple and then dumping them out in the middle of the night. We still need to stay vigilant until every last one of them leaves our state and our neighbors are back home.
“I’m CURLING!”
Casey Wasserman’s defenders insist he should stay on as LA28 chair because he’s doing such a great job raising money.
But the truth is that LA28 is such an opaque organization that we don’t actually know the truth — and all the deliverables we *can* track are severely overdue
I think it’s pretty clear this is all extremely intentional.
The media has refused to cover Trump as he actually is for 10 years: a corrupt, racist imbecile.
It’s intentional.
These way out of proportion attacks on AOC, smarter than Trump in every way, are intentional.
If you want to understand why rich guys are turning back to eugenics and recreating the rhetoric and theology of slavery, it’s because they know on some level this level of wealth inequality is unjustifiable bsky.app/profile/marl...
CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.
A screenshot of People Over Papers’ ICE reporting map. The map resets at 4 am ET every day. In Minnesota, over 100 reports have been filed today, with the overwhelming majority in and around the Twin Cities. Stay safe. Fuck ICE.
Still around 100 community reports of ICE activity around the Twin Cities today, the most of any state by far.
In case you’re wondering why so many of us aren’t quite taking Homan’s presser today at face value.
Have you ever seen this? Watched it live with my dad and think about it regularly youtu.be/QqupB5DpnU4?...
He literally says in this clip that ICE will keep in Minnesota “quick reaction forces” — a military term — to go after “agitators.” Remember that those on the ground in MPLS have spent more than a week trying to tell everyone that Trump’s prior “deescalation” was a ruse and ICE is still operational
I think of all of this as a messy 21st century version of Lincoln searching for a general to lead the army. Our party, our media, our law firms, our universities, are led by McClellans, Burnsides, Hallecks, and Hookers.
We are Lincoln. And we can't start winning until some of them are Grants.
I don’t really know what I expect in posting this, but maybe some people see it and can learn from it.
I’ll call it “lessons from an unwilling immigration attorney.”

My sense of Minnesota today is that there’s less tear gas and the same amount of unlawful detention, destruction of families, loss of livelihood, people in hiding.
There is less tear gas at places like Lake and Lyndale, so it’s not making news.

US Olympic Curling Team member speaks out against ICE:
"I'm proud to represent Team USA. But we'd be remiss if we didn't mention what's going on in Minnesota and what a tough time it's been. What's happening is wrong. There's no shades of gray."
I know, I know, stop being so naive, but this is utterly fucking outrageous.
