We are on the shore of a lake, looking out across the water over a tangled thicket of dense green underbrush. This greenery is also bristling with several dozen wild daisies with the familiar yellow centers and bright white petals. A bit further down the coastline there are shrubs and trees. The far shore of the lake is a mature forest of pines, hemlocks and hardwoods. The sky is a soft pale silvery gray with darker streaks of hazy gray clouds. Along the horizon the sky is tinted gold and yellow by the recent sunset. The sky and forest are mirrored on the gently rippled waters of the lake.
