An Evening Grosbeak bows while perching on an oak branch. Her mouth is full of something, and it almost appears that she’s trying to discreetly, if ineffectively, conceal that condition. It’s a snowy grey January morning hence the light is very soft and neutral.

(I love the way the subtle shadows of the Cedar tree’s greenery are cast across her breast, as well as the way the light glances over her cheek giving that most desirable “Rembrandt” look to her visage.)
