That's our approach to adoption. We go to the shelter, ask them which pet has been there the longest or is the most unlikely to get adopted and take them home. We always try to save a "spot" in our home for a hopice/senior rescue animal.

Might I suggest, "Remy" short for "Remembrance". I love that it's been kept safe all this time!
