Welcome! You are invited to join a webinar: IDA’s 2025 Definition of Dyslexia: An International, Evidenced-Based Update. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the webinar. Drs. Hugh Catts, Malt Joshi, and Charles Haynes provide historical context  and reasons for revising IDA’s 2002 definition of dyslexia.  They then summarize important findings that have emerged since that version, and follow with an explanation of the data-driven process their Steering Committee employed for revising the definition.  Key elements of IDA’s 2025 revised definition will be discussed along with implications for the dyslexia community.

Moving the Needle: Practical Strategies for Measuring Impact How do we know if our work is truly making a difference for the 1 in 5 students who learn differently? Join the Educating All Learners Alliance (EALA), The Research and Insights Lab (TRAIL) and All Means All (AMA) for a practical deep dive into measuring student-based outcomes, designed specifically for nonprofit leaders and grant writers looking to translate their mission into measurable practice.  In this session, we move beyond high-level goals to explore the specific indicators that prove an organization’s credibility. Participants will learn how to replace "fluff" with data to build immediate trust with funders/potential partners, and how to draft the specific, rigorous outcomes required for successful grant applications. Attendees will leave equipped to demonstrate a sophisticated, data-driven approach to growth that prioritizes the needs of students who learn differently.
