The Republic of #Djibouti assumes the role of chairing the @_AfricanUnion Peace & Security Council (PSC) for the month of December. The PSC is the standing decision-making organ of the AU for the prevention, management & resolution of conflicts.

The announcement by President Ruto of #Kenya on the planned meeting to bring together the leadership of #Ethiopia & #Somalia should be welcomed by all. This is very important for regional stability. Kudos to EAC and IGAD leaders for fostering dialogue in these critical times!
