Disaster Cash Assistance is available Dec. 17 to Jan. 15 for eligible households affected by flooding in Benton, Chelan, Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, King, Kittitas, Lewis, Pacific, Pierce, Skagit, Snohomish, Thurston, Yakima and Whatcom counties.
Call us at 877-501-2233 or visit your local Community Services Office to request a replacement. To receive this help, you must file a claim within 10 days of the flooding or outage.

β οΈFlood alert! Did you lose food bought with food benefits because of recent flooding or a power outage? You can file a claim to replace those food benefits.
Keep applying, renewing and reporting any changes that might affect your benefits. This helps make sure you get the benefits you are eligible for as soon as possible. Take steps to protect your benefits and your personal information by securing your card through the ebtEDGE app or at ebtEDGE.com.
For questions about the amount of food benefits received or if benefits arenβt loading onto EBT cards by their usual issuance dates, contact your local DSHS office or our Customer Service Contact Center at 877-501-2233.
In addition, we are processing new applications for benefits that were submitted after Oct. 16, 2025, as quickly as possible. To confirm benefits have been loaded to EBT cards, use the ebtEDGE or MyWABenefits apps or call the phone number on the back of your EBT cards.

Congress passed and the president signed spending legislation to reopen the government on Nov. 12, 2025. DSHS is issuing full November food and cash benefits to people in Washington state on their usual dates. Food benefits for Nov. 1-13 have been issued.
