Thank you for your work on this, we've started to see something along these lines in our work with CYP. We're also concerned about the potential of some sort of 'social contagion'. It's controversial but it needs to be discussed. The pendulum may have swung too far.

Poetry hasn't really been part of my repertoire as an adult but I find myself reaching for it more and more in this rather mad world. Loving this one today.

Gosh, when you discover people you cared for, knew about abuse and covered it up for years. How do you process that?

No excuses, no 'I'm sure they had good intentions/were misunderstood etc'.. Survivors & victims come first & I'll stand with them.

What an awful mess.

Agree they're not all working but it's not all about clinical funding, the INT from the article is missing a big chunk of what's making the successful ones work, the clinical AND the social determinant side, there's no mention of social prescribing, VCFSE partners, housing, community support etc.

The housing teams at my council (private sector and social) are working with the ICB to reach people with respiratory illness & support them with improvements to hard to heat/damp homes, reminding private landlords & accessing financial support. It's been ridiculously hard to set up but it's vital

Hmm, can I use the term 'deep dive' in a Masters research proposal doc? I've only got 200 words to describe my topic area and themes, that's a silly word limit.

I just found 2 litres I put in the back of the cupboard to stew (for 12 months) 4 years ago, it's remarkably good!

"Most of us cherish the notion of free choice, but our choices are constrained by the conditions in which we are born, grow, live, work and age"

Sir Michael Marmot has become my hero. All of our talk is about health services or behaviour change but we're missing a massive chunk of the puzzle.
