people outright refusing help they genuinely need in a world in a state like ours might just be indicative of an issue they've got going on in and of itself, might honestly be a sign that i shouldn't be trying to interact in that way tbh, i don't think it has a good outcome for either of us

majority of the people i've tried to help out (mostly talking connections or money etc) have been accepting and we both moved on with our lives and it was nice, i got to see them do something better or meet better people or get something they need

to be fair it might just be the world reminding me that my last couple efforts of being more open and supportive of people have been betrayed and maybe i should be more closed off lol

i don't think i'll let it get me down that much, i still like to help friends or people good to me when i can

some people do not allow themselves to be helped despite crying out from the bottom of their heart about it and it makes me feel frustrated but i think i just have to let them do their thing

it just feels insane to me that someone can sit there and be like no, let me die... when being offered help
