Walking past the blue plaque to Kenneth Clarke near the BBC today reminded me of how much delight @gkw.bsky.social and I had watching the first episode of civilisation for the latest @squarewindowpod.bsky.social

Really shocked to hear about Rob Grant's passing. It's prompted me to dig out @jroberts332.bsky.social 's excellent interviews with Rob and Doug, which we ran in TV Years magazine in 2019.

Really loved this. Ian is one of my favourite people to read when it comes to writing about TV. Detailed, and with some killer turns of phrase.

I'm hoping there's an easy answer to this, but is there a reliable online source where I could see what films were released in the UK in March 1979?

I like how counter-intuitively cosy the design is. But, yes, not sure about that either. Although there is precedent for it.
