This and Amazon Prime remind me of peak Netflix before they blew their budget on their "Originals." Being able to throw on and watch a classic or a forgotten gem was one of the best things about old Netflix.

Mostly agree but not sure if Kerry would/could have avoided the sub prime mortgage crisis; that crisis was a ticking time bomb years in the making (though perhaps a Kerry economy would have kept things afloat for those with subprime mortgages which the Bush recession led to them being underwater).

I haven't seen it in ages but if memory serves the movie's issues are more than miscast Wahlberg.

The story is just incoherent, the hammed-up ape acting bordered on parody, and the ending just felt like Burton imitating the OG's plot twist but with none of the sense. Everything felt phoned-in.
