Evil Within was one of the last straws with me listening to internet hive mind opinions, one of my favorite horror games.
Shock 2 had a massive impact on my teens and my entire online identity growing up.

World at War introduced me to online multiplayer and the zombies mode lore hunting and theorizing altered my brain chemistry.

XCOM and XCOM 2 are my favorite games of all time.
War for Cybertron made me a Transformers fan and High Moon both made me want to be a game developer then seeing them get absorbed into the CoD mines made me reconsider.

The experience looking up info on turntables and getting into vinyl record collecting was exactly this. Gotta spend an absurd amount of money on the perfect turn tables and sound equipment and if you get any of those cute pops you're a failure who didn't take pristine care of your records I guess.

That segment with Grace was some of the best Resident Evil I ever played and I kind of wish there was a lot more of that in the runtime. Still an amazing game though.

Have you tried a med called Prazosin? Its for blood pressure but can help with nightmares, its helped me. Not as long term as you but I've also had them bad enough and consistent enough its similarly impacted my sleep.
