I looked it up - it turns out the quick search functionality using โ + K has been there all along; Spotify is just now displaying this shortcut on the search bar itself.
After the Spotify update, while the Now-Playing Panel cannot be completely hidden, you can now also bring up the search bar using โ + K.

Cover design, in particular, is a significant draw for a listener like me, who values visual presentation as much as listening experienceโin essence, judging albums by their covers. (However, the number of Reid Milesโs works associated with TIDAL is remarkably few.) (2/2)
For me, TIDALโs greatest appeal lies not in its renowned audio quality, but rather in its provision of more comprehensive behind-the-scenes album information than other music streaming platformsโencompassing details from performing musicians and photography to cover design. (1/2)
