Lots of great small changes, 992 ending at 4th and Broadway is a bit annoying but is what it is. 929 should probably keep serving central downtown cause it is a major commuter route ngl

Thanks to a series YIMBY reformsβand high-quality administrationβin San Diego, the city has been in the midst of a building boom, even as construction has plummeted elsewhere. The result? Rents are down six months in a row. www.sandiegouniontribune.com/2025/12/17/s...
Small changes but do represent a scale back of service. Small savings from mts where it makes sense
That segment if the 120 is interlined largely with route 3
That segment of the 12 ends at city college, so duplicates the trolley
I expect more of these small changes as they need to save till 2028
Add to that the brand new urban freeway Bakersfield built in 2024
They demolished 271 homes, 15 apartment buildings (110 units), and 36 comercial buildings
Again this was built in 2024!!!
Their lemon Gelato is perfection. Its so damn good
Wait they have one there too, the one in little Italy is really good too
Im making tictoks now, ill crosspost them here when possible
Earlier this week, Circulate led a coalition letter urging the San Diego Unified School District to build as many homes as possible in its redevelopment efforts. Join Circulate in speaking out in support of housing at the Board of Education meeting tonight!
This took a while but is nearly done, so we published it. The Sprinter Corridor and Solana Beach are next on the map. So stay tuned for north county and the opt in delays.
San Diego SB79 Map
Our SB79 map is up!!!
Check it out here buildsd.org/legislation
We are posting short essays and explainers of the bill. And are slowly polishing and adding opt in delays to the map.
Our first explainer is "SB79 Deconstructed - Which stations count and why?"
Check it out!
Btw we are still working on the SB79 project. Its just been taking forever to make sure things work and everything is displaying correctly.
These have been up for over a year now lmao
I live in the area, its really funny
Went walking for 2 hours in the rain, im soaked from waist down but was worth it. Don't get rain often so gotta enjoy it
Look at san diego, we have actually allowed construction and we have it. Our housing market is almost as expensive as the bay area and just above LA.
We have housing going up all over urban san diego and even some more suburban areas. Its great to see. Got 20+ story projects outside downtown
East village green in san diego is doing this with 2 victorians, its really cool
Downtown San Diego is getting a new COASTER stop! We're getting through-running, now it's time to move forward with the other two pillars of Electrolink: level boarding and electrification! www.cbs8.com/article/traf...
Look into it. Its an incredibly stupid project
Oh 1000%
National city or chula vista would both work, amtrak was planning a yard in Barrio Logan on bnsf land but that fell thru. Nctd has said national city in the past but who knows
The ROW goes all the way to IB, its right next to the 8th street trolley station, and runs thru the chula vista bayfront redevelopment. Taking it atleast ro chula vista would be a slam dunk project. And it could feesibly go to san ysidro from there. Expensive but cheeper than an entirely new line
There's a planned railroad crossing at park blvd and theres freight crossovers between "park" and 5th
Yeah this is a really great project, they need to run the coaster later to allow full usage of this extension
Got a new camera lense, a smc takumar 200mm
Here's some pics i took with it

The new park is really nice too. It really puts a bow on a really cool project. As retail and office slowly fills in, it will become a great part of downtown
Had trouble uploading so here's a google drive link video

Fr. This is straight out of camera, not edited or anything, and it looks amazing. Some bright spots (the trolley sign mainly) but looks amazing
Got a new camera lense for night photos, a Sony 50mm f1.8. It looks amazing at night omg
Being in little Italy now I really do love all the food options and how late theyre open. In East village the food was way more affordable though lol
