All out on Saturday! Oppose far right demonstrations in Salford and Manchester on Saturday. Manchester will be on St. Peters Square (M1 5AN). Salford will be on Bexley Square (M3 6DD). Turn up to either location at 11am on Saturday to show that Manchester stands for anti-racism and demanding actual solutions to our current crises.

Richard Donaldson's got it absolutely wrong with the "Great British national strike". There is nothing great about using racism to yet again put the blame on migrants. It's a wrong and short-sighted response to some people's real feelings of being failed by society in their daily lives. Weird and obsessive scapegoating our neighbours will not solve the real problems - forcing austerity on us as the rich gets richer off our backs, and refuses to tackle patriarchal abuse of children.

Bring Your friends! Wear a mask! bring stuff to make noise! travel in groups!

Ryan based in Netherton was in attendance yesterday and while on probation thought it was great idea to throw up a nazi salute
Ryan was soon after arrested at the protest 🀑

In another embarrassment for Patriots of Britain, another individual seig heiling was one of the activists brought out to speak at the event
Meet Craig Houston from Glasgow
They claim its about the children and antifascists have no reason to oppose.
Nazis like this are the reason we turn up

Seconds later Nick Tenconi was quick to leave to scene, he was quickly escorted by a panicked "security team". This involved Patriots of Britain founder Ben Lawrence and Sam Westlake. Ben is known to carry a blade to protests while Sam has been pictured using a belt as a weapon at some rallies.

A few thoughts on the Patriots of Britain's "Unite for Children" demo

Yesterday a rally was held for a front group of Patriots of Britain which has been defunct since 2021 but was brought back to boost Nick Tenconi's ego

The protest brought together Patriots of Britain, Turning Point UK and UKIP.

Well done today everyone!

A proper write up on the demo will come soon.

No arrests on our side.

We are aware of two potential arrests from the fash: Ryan Ferguson, former EDL Organiser, and Sarah Jones, of Patriots of Britain.

Brett does security jobs previously for firms like G4S. He was last known to be working for P.P.S Security so if anyone would like to get in touch and see if they still have a nazi pedophile working for them feel free to do so here

We are able expose Brett Moses as an activist who was organizing within the National Support Detachment. A far right street outfit organised by former Patriotic Alternative activist and current National Rebirth Party leader Alek Yerbury.

The number of fascists in the kettle slowly depleted until eventually the counter burst into cheers, clapped, and then everyone went on our way.

Well done Manchester! Yesterday we well and truely said, "Β‘No PasarΓ‘n!"

Yesterday, MAFC and the people of Manchester pulled together to successfully embarrass Nick Tenconi and his UKIP rebrand/Turning Point front (as well as Greater Manchester Police)

Users of Piccadilly Gardens bus station quickly began to join the antifascist crowd against UKIP in pushing them (and the police with them) against the wall of Blank Street Coffee.

By the time the march arrived at the bus station, the larger counter was able to move to reinforce the small group, who then quickly used the landscape to run back in front of the UKIP march in much larger numbers.

🧡8/11

By the time UKIP's march began, Teleconi and friends looked visibly frustrated. A separate small spontaneous counter formed in front of their march, preventing any real visibility of their banner and significantly slowing them.

🧡7/11

As Tenconi moved to march, the main antifascist counter attempted to move towards St Peter's Square and prevent UKIP from marching. This failed as police blocked Portland Street. Fortunately this had the side effect of delaying the UKIP march.

🧡6/11

Unusually, Nick Tenconi remained at St Peter's Square long after the supposed start time for his own rally, with the confused UKIP demo attendees eventually joining back at the end of the PAG rally.

🧡5/11

Despite arriving an hour early, Billy Howarth's PAG rally began their speeches (that nobody could hear) 40 minutes late. This resulted in those planning to attend both far-right demonstrations walking back and forth between the two locations.

23.02.2025 14:51 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

🧡4/11

Greater Manchester Police were also identified to have made threats of intent to discharge PAVA spray (with a potential non-targeted discharge) towards the counter-protest.

23.02.2025 14:51 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

🧡3/11

Police strategy was poor and officers were seen to be scrambling to identify their decision makers. Counter-protesters reported use of batons to maintain kettles, officers groping breasts on multiple occasions as well as punching and grabbing necks.

23.02.2025 14:51 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

🧡2/11

Despite what their social media posts would lead you to believe, Tenconi spent his demonstration sulking because his violent entourage from London did not prove popular with the wider local public.

Preparing for tomorrow's demo.
Please bring anything you may need for an extended afternoon/evening protest (snacks, water, medication, etc.). Please bring a mask both for COVID and security reasons. Please also bring cash and if possible, a Dayrider for the bus.

We expect the demonstration to move throughout town depending on factors outside of our control, so cannot reliably provide access info on routes.

If you are attending alone or on a small group and wish to join up with others, drop us a DM and we can try to facilitate this safely and securely. Please download the messaging app Signal as this is how this will be arranged.

See you tomorrow at 2pm, Piccadilly Gardens, by the Victoria Statue opposite Nandos.

When they call for mass deportations, we call for mass resistance. Not one step back.
