How many military bases does the US have in Alaska? I'm wondering since it's closer to Russia than Greenland is ....if the argument is that the risk scenario has changed dramatically in the Artic I would have assumed a massive scale up of personel in Alaska and the Pituffik Space Base in Greenland.
