Realized I haven't posted anything about Top Ten Scary Games You Can Play in Your Head, By Yourself on here. Okay, rectifying that.

It's a book that's real and you should buy it.

University of Minnesota professor enters Hennepin County attorney race as β€˜innovator’ candidate Francis Shen has focused his career on researching the intersection of neuroscience and the law and wants to bring β€œ21st century” prosecution to Hennepin County.

Grateful for the Star Tribune coverage. Our message is simple: every neighborhood deserves to feel safe, and we’re ready to do the work.

Minnesota is not an imaginary place on the internet. A lot of people have a lot to say about a place they don't know.

Looking at where recent ex-MLS coaches are, found out someone created a Wikipedia account solely to edit the page for John Herdman.

April 9, 2025 was when news broke that Bayern was considering legal action after Alphonso Davies' knee injury. That day's edits bigged up his legacy - blue/right=new.

Chili’s doesn’t have chili on the menu anymore. Should Wikipedia include this fact? (Plus, read to the end for a minor defense of Grokipedia.)

Did Jeffrey Epstein edit his own Wikipedia article? I think there's a good chance he did, in 2007 at least.

Some fascinating detective work here by DF Lovett on the edits to Jeffrey Epstein's Wikipedia page. open.substack.com/pub/edithist...

Here's the first one I wrote, about my suspicion that he was attempting to edit his own Wikipedia article in 2007 (before he hired people) to remove all negative (and accurate) information about him: edithistory.substack.com/p/did-jeffre...

I've written two things about Jeffrey Epstein, Wikipedia and SEO. I'm seeing a lot of stories saying he used SEO to bury his negative results. I think a more accurate depiction is that he *tried* to do that.

Wikipedia is under attack β€” and how it can survive The site’s volunteers face threats from Trump, billionaires, and AI.

"Wikipedia has become the next target, and a more stubborn one... its contributors are difficult for any particular state to persecute... there's no government funding to cut off or advertisers to boycott. And it's so popular and useful that even highly repressive governments hesitate to block it."

I edited Pope Leo XIV's Wikipedia article to say he was a Cubs fan. But I'm not the one who started the rumor. I swear, I did nothing wrong.

This guy edited the new pope's Wikipedia page to say he was a Cubs fanβ€”everyone was saying it, and there was a source (USA Today) to back it up.

Then the new pope's brother confirmed that Leo has always been a White Sox fan.

Lesson: Verifiability β‰  truth.
