There's no record. That means the only way to find out if your legislator supports this is to ask them.
Here's the amendment.
Two pages. Show your costs. Show your profits. Show your executive comp. Show how you split the bill between residential customers and everyone else.
[3/4] The DPU can't even open your rate case until you do.
That's what 156 legislators wouldn't put their name on.
[2/4] The AG's office asked National Grid one question: show us which costs in the customer charge are actually customer-related.
National Grid said they don't have that data.
They had it when they charged you.
[1/4] Here's the AG request for this information
No record. From the House nor from National Grid. Thatβs the point.
The AG found National Grid inflates your customer charge with costs that don't belong there. Asked them to show the math.
They said they couldn't.
They could when they raised your rates 57%.
I filed an amendment to make them show you. The House wouldn't record the vote. Four stood. Out of 160.
Trump is pushing through an Executive Order to prevent any transparency or regulation around AI and there are bills moving through state legislatures right now that make asking questions and demanding transparency, completely illegal.

The May Day Movement is about putting people over billionaires & corporations.
Through progressive tax structures, MA can absolutely afford to fund public education, healthcare, housing & more. But those policy changes wonβt happen w/o sustained, coordinated efforts by labor & community organizers.
Last Friday, Gov Healey committed MA to a 3 year, multimillion-dollar contract with OpenAI, to deploy its AI tool for all 40,000 executive branch employees. She did this based on the recommendation of a task force dominated by execs w financial ties to OpenAI.

The death of Shacoby Kenny is not an isolated incident. It's part of an ongoing pattern of violence & neglect inside these facilities.
I join the call for:
β
The immediate suspension of involved officers from Unit 3-4 and the SERT team
β
An end to the cycle of state harm in Suffolk County
For decades, the South Bay House of Correction and Nashua Street Jail have operated as pipelines designed to criminalize poverty, target unhoused people, and cage community members who should never be incarcerated.
We need to continue to increase funding for this critical program in the upcoming budget!
Today I joined the 26th Annual Walk to the Hill for Civil Legal Aid. Legal aid funding provides attorneys to assist residents with critical legal issues related to housing, domestic violence, unemployment claims, access to education and health care, and more.

It was wonderful to attend the State of the Commonwealth last night. My hope is that Massachusetts will take concrete steps to stop ICE from terrorizing and harming our neighbors, looking forward to a productive session ahead.
This ruling effectively means that incarcerating people based on race and ethnicity and w/o due process is constitutional. His story needs to be told now more than ever as the Trump administration continues to profile and detain people based on their race and ethnicity.
I was proud to host a hearing on a bill I filed with Sen Eldridge, An Act designating Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution. Fred Korematsu stood up in defiance of Japanese incarceration during WWII and his lawsuit went all the way to Supreme Court, which ruled against him.
In future videos, I'll go over what can be done to:
1. Lower your energy bills
2. Stop monopolies from price gauging YOU
3. Prioritize renewable energy
Why are our energy bills so high?!?!
What's driving up your energy bill isn't Mass Save or investments in renewable energy, utility companies are maximizing their profits by βgold-platingβ infrastructure beyond what's truly needed.
It was so moving to be with Somerville youth, and enjoy their poetry, musical performance, and speeches to celebrate MLK Day. Thank you Teen Empowerment, Somerville Department of Racial and Social Justice, Somerville Public Schools and @mayorjakewilson.bsky.social for bringing us together today.
I tend to use the national pronunciation even though I was born and raised in Massachusetts.
I need to apologize for something I did. The @bostonherald.com is right, there is no place for profanities in politics.
We need get ICE out of Massachusetts. There are 3 key things we can do in Massachusetts to protect our neighbors from ICE.
1. Stop MA police, courts, prisons, and jails from helping ICE
2. End the surveillance state from targeting us
3. Hold ICE agents accountable for breaking state laws

Thank you to the hundreds of people who showed up last night to protest and call out ICE's violence and killing Renee Nicole Good. We must fight to abolish ICE. We won't accept a system that terrorizes our immigrant neighbors and our communities. Solidarity from Boston to Minneapolis.
