Anything you need to boil water for you should be using a kettle for. More energy and time efficient. If i'm cooking noodles i'll boil it in the kettle then pour it in the pan
Kettles are much more energy efficient and boil water faster. I think it's something where boiling water is such a common part of all cooking a dedicated water heating device makes sense.
But like realistically that fits in with rice cookers and airfriers in terms of appliance type
