I do understand that. Artists used to need to make lots of compromises to the CRT display didn't completely ruin the graphics, and the ingenuity is quite commendable. But a lot of the time the graphics were good *despite* the CRT display, not because of it.

I appreciate that. I honestly just prefer crisp pixel art. If you like how it looks on a CRT thats fine, its a matter of opinion anyway.
