Hello! Let me introduce myself. ๐
My name is Mateusz and I'm from Poland. I work as a Frontend Developer, but in my free time I create my own indie game as a hobby (which is based on an automated battle roguelike). I have a few short jam games if you want to try them, link here: arssin.itch.io ๐ฎ
Thank you so much!
Hey, nope. It's gonna be fantasy rougelike automatic-battler where you create team and go throught floors of castle. But you're starting from town, and i want to give "some town actions" to be more fun. :D
Probably this is harder in your head than probably it is in real life. Give it a shoot I bet it will be good knowledge! ๐
[2/2] Surely in the end (at least in my head), it will all come down to writing your own plugin. Godot itself is very flexible in this regard, it even has a thread on the subject in the docs. Although I am not so sure about this solution, it is probably the first thing I would try. :D Good luck!
[1/2] Very interesting concept. Personally, I would probably try the EditorPlugins approach. Somewhere, you would have to write changes to EditorProperty yourself and create a resource that will store this data (grid size and its data).
Great addition! "Team" solo devs :D
Haha thank you and welcome!
I just registered to see what's going on here. I am currently working on my indie game. So me first post gonna be...:
"Work, work". ๐
Have a nice day if you see that! ๐ฏ
