I've had The Place Beyond the Pines on my watch list for a while and I gotta be honest, it's hot garbage. They do mention garbage plates though.

I certainly never need to hear the US National Anthem, One Last Breath, or All About That Bass ever again.

The Neon is something I was very committed to hating during its time, much like emo music. But as I have gotten older I have come to appreciate the cheerful elegance of the humble Neon. Particularly the first gen. The world is worse without them.
Horrible cars to be sure. They chewed through CV joints like crazy.
