I am having not the best week and am operating on very little sleep but right now there is a kitty napping in my lap and that’s helping immensely.
We watched If I Had Legs I’d Kick You last night, and I think it’s going on my mountain of excellent movies I only need to see once in my life. Rose Byrne was just phenomenal (and maybe a little relatable) embodying the intersection between autism and ADHD.
Social media created this nonsense idea that not exposing yourself to hatred is isolationist. Choosing to not spend your free time with bigots isn’t living in a bubble. I don’t need to know what’s going on at X. I won’t be smarter or more knowledgeable or empathic by being there. Neither will you.

The person my boss hired to manage our social media is using AI to create images of the macarons we make in our store and it’s kind of upsetting. Our work doesn’t need to be enhanced by AI, it’s beautiful just as it is.
