right to defend itself = right to destroy every piece of civilian infrastructure within 250km of Israel apparently
It was either America or Israel that bombed my neighbourhood in Baghdad tonight.
The most likely target was a TV channel belonging to a pro-Iran Iraqi Shi'a militia.
The target was missed and a civilian house was hit instead.
I am so so so so so mad!
Today in #T4/Illawarra line fun and games, there are no trains running between Sutherland and Cronulla, and, to mar your day even more exciting, a freight train has derailed outside Sutherland, closing the line past Oatley. #SydneyTrains
Just finished a two day hearing into decisions by the Reources Minister and Department of Planning blocking public access to information about Bowdensβ proposal for an open cut lead mine in beautiful Mudgee.

a chart showing high new EV sales (close to 100% for 2025) but slow change in usage, registration and emissions drops
Norway is at ~100% EVs for new sales, but 7 out of every 10km driven in 2024 was reliant on fossil fuels. Cars stick around for decades - so change is slow.
Protecting ppl from fossil fuel crises means EVs, yes, but *fast deep cuts* means huge $$ in public and active transport. Speed matters!
Think I may have found how the ratβs getting into the kitchen cupboardβ¦ just a hunch, mind you
Absolutely awful result in the "antifa terrorism" trial against the Prairieland noise demonstrators. Innocent people convicted under conspiracy statutes because they had zines at home, or wore black, or were in a Signal chat β even those who did not actually participate in the demonstration.
NEW | The United States lifted sanctions on Russian oil that is already on tankers at sea until April 11, 2026, a decision that will buttress the Russian war economy. www.criticalthreats.org/analysis/rus...
Australia's energy watchdog prepares to unveil new power price caps, which will include a tariff offering three hours of free electricity during the day.
John McGuigan was due to go back to work weeks ago in Manchester. He's still stuck in Australia using up all his work leave entitlements due to the war in the Middle East.
The federal government's temporary easing of fuel standards will see 200 million litres of "dirty" fuel injected into the domestic market. Should drivers be worried?
Antisemitism Envoy Jillian Segal-funded disinformation network βAdvanceβ is now attacking one of the nationβs best and most respected journalists, over doing his job and pointing out the bleeding obvious regarding Israel and the US.
This is where we are, Australiaβs MAGA.
The Prairieland case is a major test of the Trump administrationβs push to label βantifaβ protesters as terrorists.
Regardless of any benefits Russia derived from cooperating with Iran in the past, America's war with Iran is clearly good news for the Kremlin.

PM maccormicki (coldest leader)
Yep, & the major driver of anti-semitism is Netanyahu & his violent Zionist cult.
Laura Tingle: βHis first statement was not televised or audio-recorded, but rather read out on Iranian television. The good news was that he said Iran believes in friendship with its neighbours. The bad news was he said all US bases in the region should be immediately closed or would be attacked.β
βOil: Images of burning ships and oil apocalyptic. The economic, geopolitical story is grim. Iran appears to have further tightened its grip on world oil market β striking 6 ships in past day or so as they sit, vulnerable, near Tehran-controlled Strait of Hormuz.β www.abc.net.au/news/2026-03...
It's almost like they weren't lying about building a garrison state to fight an eventual US invasion for the last 35 years

So who's gonna pay for this "A.i." error?
No one?
No one, right?
All right then.
Burn it all down.
No worries
Interesting comparisons drawn between Vietnam and Iran who both widened the war. Tactically clever. Probably beyond US to combat that move. Spent some weeks in Hanoi and enjoyed walking around observing the obvs pride still evident in the people. Smart move by Iran against an overweight bullying US.
Not surprised Marie.
Laura Tingle: βThis war increasingly feels like a contest between an "all hardware, no strategy" United States and a "less hardware, lots of strategy" Iran, at least as far as the war of words is concerned.β
This represents Iranβs strategy of horizontal escalation. #auspol
