On the next Hirschfeld Century podcast that comes out next week we talk about this film. In America it was shown on CBS and in the UK at theaters. Hirschfeld did a drawing for CBS that appeared in publications across the country. I insisted my co host watch it.
This is the start of an 82 year career. Hirschfeld was 17 at the time. He wouldnβt publish his first caricature for another five years.
