Currently a teacher in Texas, I'm taking up writing again after doing fanfiction years ago when I was in high school and college. I've made many attempts at books, but self-publishing and promotion terrify me.
Can I but 'Willing to try random stuff to see what works with the assumption I can't break things too badly' as a job skill on a resume? Way too many people come to me to ask for specific solutions, and I just try what they could have tried by looking at the interface.
