Sheehy is a former Seal accused of lying about gunshot wound he has. I remember another Seal who served with him saying online that he was a big POS. Given that information, this feels very on-brand for the senator.

Agreed, it would have been better for this to come out earlier. But like planting trees and saving money, the second best time is now.

Honestly, for better and worse, I wish this story could have come out a month ago, but we didn’t get the tip until yesterday afternoon. We worked through the night to vet out what we could and get the clearest picture of what happened and why. We’ll see what happens next.
