Found some interesting stuff and where some branches enter the country. The thing that surprised me was HOW FAR BACK the tradition I destroyed goes. Giving your first son your first name as a middle name goes back to at least the 1700s. I rejected my name AND didn't have any sons. Sorry not sorry

Got into a hyper focus last night as I wasn't sure how to process my friend's recent cancer news amidst the city being occupied and ended up doing nearly 6 hours of family tree work and managed to reach the 100 person limit in a sitting. Even found someone with my friend's name.

Yeah, been horrifying seeing these terrible things happening in the backdrop of my life. I saw it coming years ago, but it just doesn't prepare you for how scary it is when it finally arrives! I haven't been protesting, but I've been keeping eyes and sharing info mainly.
