Feels like a larger phenomenon including not only games but all kinds of products. Review culture, maybe? Just that need to obsessively read reviews, pros and cons, and whatnots of every item you decide to spend money on. I'm guilty of it with games, books, etc. and it's exhausting but hard to stop

Terrible Game Idea: IKEA roguelike. Traverse a maze of furniture, collect random trinkets with unpronounceable names, try to find the exit.
Makes a lot of sense! People tend to hate limitation but imo it's the mother of creativity
