Forcing survivors of SA to give birth is a grave human rights violation. Our country's violent history of controlling BIPOC women's and girls' bodies is appalling. Pregnancy is risky, but especially for children. These girls should be able to easily access the abortion care they need and deserve.
Since July, over a dozen pregnant immigrant children have been relocated to a Texas facility, with half pregnant due to rape. A former official asserts this is a deliberate act to deny them abortion access.

It also mentions that if they believe the notice was in error, the recipient can appeal.

Pregnancy can be risky and without abortion that risk only increases. After the overturning of Roe v. Wade, pregnant people are now 2x as likely to die from pregnancy-related complications in states with abortion restrictions. Abortion is necessary, timely, lifesaving care that pregnant people need.
