Ya'll realize that we will have meaningful baseball games back in EARLY MARCH. This is less than a month from today - the World Baseball Classic will start. This will surely be a boost to my mental health.

We'll pick it up from here.
Spring Training and the World Baseball Classic are right around the corner!

Beyond grateful for this vocation. Please let me know how I can be praying for you. ⚓️
Sarah Mullally confirmed as archbishop of Canterbury, becoming the first woman to lead the Church of England.
Please keep me in your prayers as I celebrate the Eucharist for the first time at our Wednesday noon service. ⚓️
I’m so grateful to be a priest in Christ’s Church. I also share this while grieving the loss of another life at the hands of state-sponsored violence. Let us all have the strength to stand against this evil in word and prayer and deed. ⚓️
When my youngest child is looking forward to something and wants to know how far away it is, the easiest way for him to grasp it is for me to tell him how many "sleeps" away it is. Turns out this works for me too. I'm four sleeps away from being ordained a priest. ⚓
“‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat… I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick & in prison and you did not look after me.’”
Good luck and prayers ascending!
I read all of your responses (and all the other ones on other channels) and I compiled 37 of the reasons here in this article. Enjoy (you may see your own)!
I'll be ordained a priest this month. I ask that you keep me in your prayers. And I would be delighted to pray for you. ⚓
With the Bills’ loss to the Eagles, the Patriots are the AFC East Champions for the first time since 2019.
New England won just FOUR games last year 😳
I would second this. I’m re-reading as I approach my ordination next month.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were wonderful. Church was beautiful and moving, especially first year as clergy. The kids loved Christmas morning. But now a deep breath. Embracing these Christmas days from now until Jan 6th is such a gift and one of my favorite times of the year. ⚓️
Merry Christmas friends! ⚓️
Merry Christmas, Meri Kerihimete, Joyeux Noël, Христос Родився, Καλά Χριστούγεννα, Христос се роди, Crăciun Fericit, Fröhliche Weihnachten, Feliz Navidad
I also typically stream from the BBC - but often times it's also played on local public radio.
Also, I'm looking forward to following #9LC again this year with all of you on here. ⚓
This is my first Christmas as clergy, which means a bit of a new rhythm for my family and I - but I'm very much looking forward to these next few days. I would ask for your prayers and I will most certainly be praying for all of you as we enter into the Christmas season. ⚓
Are you going with a group?
Jumping into my annual watch of “It’s a Wonderful Life”. I simply love this film and will tear up before it is over.
We had snow overnight and so there were fewer folks in the pews than normal, but we had a beautiful Gaudete Sunday nonetheless! ⚓️
Bernard and his three advents made an appearance in my sermon last Sunday.
I was considering waking up early and going to sit in the woods this morning to see if I could fill a deer tag I have but I decided that I wasn't that dedicated and it was just too cold this morning. Fortunately there is still venison in the freezer.

For my fourth year I’ll be taking students on the Camino de Santiago. We just selected students. It’s a joy to inform students who were selected for the program but I hate having to say no to others. Each year we’ve had far more apply than we can take, which I suppose is a good problem to have.
