Iβm so sorry, Bad. Truly.
I don't know any headline is bad enough to break the fever, but Elon Musk's Ketamine Dealer Is Gutting the Department of Education might do the trick
Do something.
Thank you!
This. Always this.
If youβre planning on watching any Lynch, my advice is: donβt watch any analysis videos, donβt think about what stuff is βsupposedβ to mean, just get your own unique experience from it!!
I think people have become far too concerned with the βcorrectβ interpretations of media. Just experience it!!!
Kyle MacLachlan pays tribute to David Lynch
"I will miss him more than the limits of my language can tell and my heart can bear. My world is that much fuller because I knew him and that much emptier now that heβs gone ... Thank you for everything"
Is there anyone in AI that isnβt a complete asshole?

Jesus. It just worse and worse and dumber and dumber and scarier and scarier.
That a brilliant phrase. Iβm guilty of it as well. Thank you.
No I see what we are talking about. It is our lives that are being affected. Itβs scary and there seems to be no end in sight. My only point was that it will eventually end.
Iβm not disagreeing with anything you say. Iβm sad and upset and worried just about every single day. My only point was that hate always dies by its own hand blinded by hubris. And it shows up in decisions made.
I feel like Iβm arguing against something that I believe in. Iβm not excusing anything. Nor do I think we shouldnβt fight. I said this too shall pass as all things do. And eventually the hate will swallow itself. Thatβs not an invite to apathy.
And invented new ways. Itβs a sad and tragic time we live in.
Iβm with you. Every single day takes an incredible toll on my psyche.
True but itβs sort of a self perpetuating thing, no? It was the hubris of their hate that sent them down the path to their destruction. Not saying that we shouldnβt fight but that there is always an end to movements based on hate.
Lay it on me.
Iβm not really sure or even slightly convinced that we will ever fight back against or demand more of big tech or the American Oligarchy. Sure, weβll sound off on the apps that are destroying our lives but taking any meaningful action seems an impossible feat.
I truly believe that the storm will pass, as well. Eventually the hate will swallow itself. As it always does.
Great read! I donβt see how we stop this tbh. Itβs like we have all rolled over and accepted that this is our life and we donβt deserve any better.
βIβm pretty sure that if you type something like βshoesβ or βhandbags,β youβre going to get the Shopping UI with hundreds of ads screaming at you to buy [their product],β he said. βSo thereβs no incentive to . . . give you an aggregated summary with exactly what people are saying about different shoes so you know exactly what you [should] buy.β
I disagree with perplexity.ai CEO Aravind Srinivas about the importance of sourcing in search results, but boy does he have Google's number here. Search for something they can't sell, you get an AI summary. Something they can, you don't. Try it yourself.

Yeah, a lot of the "gender is meaningless, you can be whatever you want!" talk also rings hollow when those selfsame supposedly supportive 'allies' also treat gender like a club trans people can be easily kicked out of, and act like respect for our identities is a privilege we must earn.
Tech sucks, and @edzitron.com explains why in this extensive, articulate, & angry essay.
βI believe that billions of people being fucked with at once in all of these ways has profound psychological and social consequences that weβre not meaningfully discussing.β

This last quote hit me hard. Everything is monetized.
