The kākāpō is the world’s largest, most endangered, and least graceful parrot.

Douglas Adams says it "flies like a brick" and can fall out of trees.

The bird lives in New Zealand, and the population got down to 51.

But they are getting busy and laying 240 eggs (not all will hatch)

Did you know that there is a really large, ugly, and awkward parrot? And it's endangered, but making a comeback.
