Thrilled me—filled me with fantastic tingling never felt before….

I think about that pretty much every time he votes. Inexcusable, with ripples that echo right up to today.
Screenshot. MN Gov Tim Walz on TV in a blue suit jacket white shirt open collar. Chyron reads: BREAKING NEWS GOV. TIM WALZ REACTS TO TRUMP FIRING DHS SECRETARY KRISTI NOEM
🙌 MN Gov Tim Walz says Kristi Noem’s original sin, well before she was in Trump’s cabinet, was refusing to do anything to help mitigate the spread of Covid throughout her state and the entire upper Midwest.
“Minutes after Trump posted on social media… that he was firing Noem as homeland security secretary, she stepped onto the stage of a law enforcement conference in Nashville and began speaking as if she were still leading the department.”
Normally, I don’t applaud public humiliation… normally.
Along with Massie, just one Republican, Rep Warren Davidson-OH, backed the measure. Four Dems—Henry Cuellar-TX, Jared Golden-ME, Greg Landsman-OH & Juan C. Vargas-CA—broke with their party to oppose doing so.
FWIW, Davidson is a former Army Ranger; Cuellar is a recent recipient of a Trump pardon.
This just in: Corey Lewandowski has also been relieved of his official duties. He will NOT be paid to fuck Markwayne Mullin.
Old cartoon. Black line drawing on white shows four poses of character laughing hysterically. Caption on bottom says “YOU WANT IT WHEN?!”
Trump tell Axios he needs to be personally involved in picking Iran’s next leader. www.axios.com/2026/03/05/i...
DON’T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR BLANKET!
Another side note:
No more living in the Coast Guard mansion. No more sleeper planes. Where will Noem and Lewandowski go to play?
Total side note:
Dan Goldman’s “ABOLISH ICE” ad is structured around his talking directly to Noem, saying when he’s in the majority, he will impeach her.
Guess he’s going to have to cut a new ad. Will he stick with “Abolish ICE?”
This is old news, but bears repeating: Trump rose to national fame saying “You’re fired” every week on The Apprentice, but in real life, Trump is famous for never doing the firing in person. Social media has facilitated his Potemkin tough guy behavior.
IRL: Trump is always a chicken.
Screenshot of two NYT updates. Text: Department of Homeland Security 21 minutes ago Michael Gold 山 Less than an hour ago, Senator Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma told reporters that he had not spoken with the president this week and that he would not engage in hypotheticals. 22 minutes ago Shawn McCreesh President Trump just announced on social media that Kristi Noem is out at the Department of Homeland Security. He wants Senator Markwayne Mullin to replace her.
Trump makes his move to cut Noem via his pantomime Twitter. Also announces her replacement will be Sen. Markwayne Mullin (Loon-OK)—but Mullin says he hasn’t spoken with Trump.

“Trump Administration Live Updates: President Ousts Noem as Homeland Security Secretary”
Are we sure she’s not the Ghislaine Maxwell of Roy Cohns?
What kind of a question is that?
A) Look around—really look.
&
B) What kind of a movement are you building if you feel you can say “There aren’t enough of you to make me care?”
I know there are old profiles and maybe even an episode or two of The Apprentice where Trump talks about liking a little chaos. He pretends it’s some sort of creative energy, but really it is the kind of distracting confusion that gives him room for corruption while avoiding culpability.
“The measure comes amid mounting pressure by U.S. President Donald Trump on Cuba….”
The Trump administration is out to destabilize the entire world. #SickManOfTheAmericas
Detail of screenshot of James Talarico delivering primary acceptance speech. Awhile man in a blue sport jacket, open collar no tie. People behind him hold signs that say “Take Back Texas”
James Talarico delivering his primary victory speech reached out to supporters of Rep. Jasmine Crockett by saying it is up to him to convince them he’s worthy of their vote.
It’s a small thing, but something I don’t hear nearly enough. Voters do not owe candidates their votes—pols have to earn it.
Stolen Valor was absolutely in my mind but I couldn’t fit inside the character limit.
Between Patel and Sheehy AND Hegseth, I’ve been wanting to type that a lot this week.
Text from The Hill The Washington Post first broke the story that Sheehy told a park ranger in 2015 that he shot himself after dropping his revolver in a parking lot. The ranger, Kim Peach, told the Times in an interview that he is "100 percent sure he [Sheehy] shot himself that day," referring to the October 2015 incident that he responded to in Glacier.

Recall that Sen. Sheehy, seen here breaking the arm of a Marine veteran, was caught lying about being shot in battle during service in Afghanistan & then made up a new lie to cover the previous one. (He likely shot himself stateside in a national park, but still accepted a Purple Heart.)
The govt needs to hire more theater majors and playwrights so that maybe someone would understand Chekov’s nostrum on plastic elements.
If we keep building more weapons, keep introducing more guns, it is only a matter of time before some poor player thinks it imperative we use them.
I should revise this, as the nine-year sentence of Tina Peters, who tampered with voting machines in an attempt to alter the 2020 vote, is not really Polis’s lunch money—it’s the people’s. The governor is trading justice for… not even “for”—just in the hope that Trump will give CO something back.
Jared Polis vows to give bully his lunch money today, assured that in no way will the bully want his lunch money tomorrow.
Breaking: Bondi approves overtime payments for entire DOJ insult writers staff.
(Which is probably larger than the Civil Rights Division at this point.)
Somewhere in our future, if we’re lucky, there will be a film, in the style of Dr. Strangelove, where we bitterly satirize the blood-lust of the Trump administration, and there will be a montage of brutal BDA videos set to this:
Republican AG who is also a Sen candidate appeals to GOP-dominated TX Supreme Court to stay decision to keep Dem polls open. Court does that AND says late Dallas votes have to be separated out.
Crockett and Talarico need to talk and make this a unifying campaign issue for the general.
Listening to the Dallas County election administrator & I’m going to officially call this ratfucking.
GOP doesn’t sign an MOU for a joint primary. Repub Sec of State fails to update state website. Confusion leads to court action that kept polls open only for Dems bec there was no joint primary. …
Alas, www.dallasnews.com puts their coverage behind a paywall, but I am hearing it quoted on TV saying the TX Sec of State website did not show the new district lines—just drawn by the GOP mid-decade—for today’s vote, thus sending some voters to the wrong polling places.
More rat-effing.
Paxton (now TX AG, aspiring GOP sen nom) went to TX Supreme Court & got a stay of extra hours in Dallas. Judge ordered county to separate ballots cast post 7pm—don’t know if that’s possible, but w/ Paxton heading to runoff & Dems maybe not, Pax is trying to delay a Dem decision & create controversy.
