For military history, that so-called claim is an assumption, dressed as an assertion, launched with confident ignorance and missing the mark by a galactic mile.

A fav. Great hand at heroic storytelling
Rough Justice, a collection of Steve Tem's crime stories. Work of art.
Writer and military historian here. Editing would be great.
Night and the City is a close second, but this one is flawless.
Flawless Victory.
Ahead of her time. The stories she told of fans stalker her were wild.
Your match with Mox was pure Dynamite! C'est Awesome!
Wow they always go in threes: Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Ozzy Osbourne, and Chuck Mangione and absolutely no one else
Great memoir title.
WANTED: SHORT STORY BASED ON THIS POST. PAYMENT: STREED CRED FROM GEN Xer
Emily Wilson's bio of Seneca was great, too. She kept in all of the contradictions and vice and failure. Good times!
AEW and NXT have had great shows over two weeks. Io Sky may be the best wrestler in either promotion. Will the streak continue? Unlikely!
Next month? Now it's next week!
A billion times as stable as a coffee house. And yet, the coffee house still stands!
Let's keep it going for the artists!
I love when non-readers pretend to be readers! It's so cute! What's next? "Don't you hate it when a fantasy book series ends and your favorite character is ill treated? Hope that doesn't happen again!"
Founder? Founder!
His book on Monsters is exceptionally well written, too. But this sucker has eluded me! Thanks!
“Reviewers also describe my work as ‘cartoonish,’ which I take as a compliment, because I love cartooning, and cartooning is very Greek... The creators of the Greek myths worked like cartoonists, painting in big bold strokes without a lot of physical or psychological detail.”
Raw was all filler. It was a rerun of the week before. Nothing moved forward. Rather watch Top Chef reruns.
Would hate to have you sleep through a very average AEW Dynamite. That said, the AEW subreddit is surprisingly inspiring!
RAW on Netflix is starting to return to VKM tactics - the half-hour of nothing (entrance, interrupted speeches, all about something happening later), opening bout I can't remember, one okay match (I v. L), filler, and then a main event Zayne jobbed . . . again. Evil New Day is fun, though!
Nice! I found being in that sleepy/first coffee daze led to the best work! Night Owls and Early Birds, Unite!
Thanks. That first half hour was where I was most creative, and morning pages wasted that time and energy. Once I spent it on writing stories, everything improved.
McIntyre's elimination from the Rumble was something of a botch, apparently. I thought he was overselling his death stare, turns it was aimed at LA Knight's showboating.
The Rumble was fun. Breaker was great. J. Fatu was great. The setting up of the Road to WrestleMania? Fun. But Cody v. Owens was awkward and the finish so tired it felt like a botch. Glad Charlotte Flair is back, though!
Yub Nub!
