Honestly, that’s one of the reasons CAA is there: To get him out of shit circumstances without him looking like the bad guy.
I felt especially bad for Connor in the final skit. It existed for one reason, which clearly wasn’t comedy. He gave himself as tribute, but his management (CAA 👀 ) should have intervened. The cheap, stupid objectification was so beneath what anyone should have allowed.
Re: Marcello - Felt like Marcello did that voice in the writers room and they slapped together a skit to use it. Literally the only funny part was Marcello’s Spanglish “olive oil.”
