It's mostly pretending to work. Studies show that after like 50 hours a week productivity actually gets worse. And that most jobs can be done in 2-3 hours a day. The rest is just putting on a show for the boss. FUCK hustle culture, we should only be doing 20 hr work weeks at this point.

me too, even seven eleven closes before midnight now 😞 when I was in college I worked overnight shift from midnight til 6am at seven eleven it was....fun 🤣
