#ScreenUnseen tonight, and we got to see Slanted. It's solid social commentary body horror that feels grounded and uncomfortably real. It's not body horror to the level of The Substance, but it's still effectively used and disturbing.

We're watching The Bride.
This movie has all the hallmarks of a Blade Runner style re-edited mess. The use of Mary just comes across so clunky.
Happy Lunar New Year from Seattle!
When you're tired of your refrigerator's water line freezing every month.
Pro-war people are saying this was Iran's rocket failing and striking the school. It's all hearsay propaganda. There isn't any evidence of this.
109 points. I lost to 132 points in first. Messed up and slow-played too much at the end. Robbed myself of an extra 25 points.
All in all, it's a really solid game. I'd definitely play this again.
Alright, time to score
Pretty solid #BoardGame.
I do love a good planning your hand of cards order of play style game. Nothing more satisfying than playing your hand down to your last card to max out the hand replenishment rewards.
Tonight's #BoardGame is Concordia Venus. I've never played it before and looking forward to learning.
Yes, knowing the rate of success (applying:booking) can be disheartening. What keeps me going is knowing that I can stand by the auditions I turned in. I gave them what they asked for, plus a little extra, and I have no regrets and no reason to look back.

I mean, we knew this was likely the case, but still.

Won again with 48.
This is a pretty fun game.
I won with 34pts.
That's a stack of 23 out of a possible 30 RA tiles. I drew 2/3 of them
Tonight's #Boardgame is RA. That stack of red is mostly my doing ๐ตโ๐ซ
Let's face it, there's a lot of words they use incorrectly.

But for me, it was beating Mega Man X.
I work in the aviation industry.
95% accuracy when talking about torque values, that is 1000x OUT OF TOLERANCE...at minimum.
Some of my best chicken katsu.
Didn't even need a knife to cut them. ๐คค
This has all the appearances of a money laundering shell game.
Our society is so steeped in rape culture. It's depressingly disturbing no matter how much I've come to expect it.
What do you mean Dracula taught you nothing about business?
1. Invest in real estate.
2. You can cut costs by shipping yourself places.
3. Staffing is as easy as enthralling any young barrister who wanders by.
4. Avoid direct sunlight.
Wouldn't dream of it.
Working full time and finding the time to cook is difficult.
Most of the time I find myself either crockpotting a meal for the week or prepping 2-3 days worth the night before. It's rewarding but exhausting.
It depends on what you're in the mood for. This is more a deep philosophical journey of self discovery than a sword & shield adventure.
We saw the dub, which was done well, and the visuals of course were beautiful.
Just got out of Scarlet.
The trailers definitely did not prepare us for how...different that was.
Dryer broke...again. I checked our repair records, the felt liner on the drum did this exactly 5yrs (5yrs after we bought it).
Going the #DIY route this time, and only $20 for a new liner.
Got a classic game of St. Petersburg for tonight's #Boardgame.
Well, we walked out of our 3rd movie in the last 25yrs.
#SoloMio was this incel fantasy movie full of one-dimensional characters and jokes with no punchlines.
Here's the other thing, we have an Employment Situation Summary from last month reviewing 2025. From Aug-Dec'25, unemployment was steady at around 7,500 (or a rate of 4.4).
Assuming 100% of illegals are counted in the unemployment data, I can't imagine the deportations in January would be enough.
