Here's what we have on the schedule for this week (3/25-3/30). Please note that Chess Club has changed its hours for Spring/Summer and will now run 5:30-7pm every Wednesday.
The Forage Like a Bear Q&A / Signing is today (Sat. 3.15) from 12-3pm! Come hang out with Chris Fink of WNIJ/NPR and John Porcellino King-Cat/Spit-and-a-Half for a discussion on their latest release from Bored Wolves Press! There is no cost to attend.

I will be addressing City Council tonight at 5:30pm in support of immigrants and refugees in Rockford and will respond directly to the xenophobic language used in last week's Council meeting by 3rd Ward Alderman Chad Tuneberg. I hope to see some of you there -- I will do the best that I can.

It's turning out to be a pretty neat, poetry-centric day. This morning, I got to hang out with Professor MK Davis & his RU students to discuss a piece from Cold Comfort. Tonight, I join poets Jenna Goldsmith & Lydia Kozlowski as Judges for Jefferson High School's Poetry Out Loud competition.
