How is the whole Moltbook phenom not a bigger topic of discussion? I logged on to see what folks are saying here....and I'm kinda shocked at how little talk there is of it.
I highly rec reading "The Fourth Turning is Here" to add context to this...
Iranian women ditching their Regime-mandated hijabs and lighting cigarettes in protest is just wildly iconic. Love it.
Freedom for Iran.
How did I not know there's a 300 year old, continuously operating restaurant in Madrid (which Hemingway wrote about)? And why am I not already planning the trip to go eat roasted suckling pig?
crap - I forgot my other necessary Christmas watch: The Long Kiss Goodnight. Completely underrated.
I started reading The Everlasting by @alixeharrow.bsky.social at Thanksgiving. It is achingly beautiful. I find myself reading a few pages, and savoring it -- sometimes for days. I'm 1/3rd of the way through it now (yes, a month later), and it's one of those books that you hope never ends.
Holiday family photos.
already got my first 4 Christmas movie essentials in (Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Violent Night and Christmas Vacation)...

love Mary Oliver.
Happy Thanksgiving!
so sorry for your loss, JT.
Happy Veterans Day!

What if the ultimate purpose of the internet is to foster more addiction?
Every American, no matter how much I disagree with them, should be able to speak their mind (politically), without being murdered.
It's really just that simple.
I think i'm in the rare minority who actually enjoys their twitter account. I don't know if it's my insistent blocking/muting or what, but I don't generally get all of the crap.
