We've been working hard on developing our new Player Game Cards behind the scenes, and I love how they turned out!
We have Traits (Velo, Movement, Etc), Outcomes (Str%, CSW%, xSLGcon), and Modelled Value (plvStuff, plvLocation, and PLV), for every pitch thrown, plus visualizations!

there was a small family-owned business in our town that, for ~30 years, imported kawaii japanese stationery, pens, notepads, origami, stickers, plushies, blind boxes, whatever. it was cute, always a fun little escape. they closed last year because of the imports. for many, the damage is done.

it's worth noting that matt swartz projected skubal for $17.8 mil, so the tigers were not necessarily out of line here. but i assume his model (which is highly accurate) is based exclusively on precedent—and those precedents are based pretty much exclusively on stats accumulation, not accolades
