CRASHOUT FOR THE AGES
Shelved By Genre: come for the insightful and funny analysis of genre fiction, like The Hobbit; stay for bits like Wild West Trolls and Red Deadβs Arthur Morgan looking for Garmonbozia
Phantasy Star Online ver.2 (DC / Sonic Team / 2001) - Pioneer II
THEY'VE PUT ME ON THE POCKETSTATION COOP. I'M BEING RENDERED IN A 32 BY 32 GRID OF MONOCHROME PIXELS. THE BOYS BACK AT QUANTICO SAID THEY'RE GOING TO RELOCATE ME TO A "DOKO DEMO ISSYO" UNTIL THEY CAN GET THIS STRAIGHTENED OUT.
Official 2002 European Super Mario Sunshine screensaver that features Mario sliding across the screen and periodically turning into his famous "aggressive" render from that game.
sometimes video games are just⦠a lot
and that compounds. βoh i can mash B and my top speed isnβt impacted at cruisingβ, βoh i can use copy abilities and inhale more aggressivelyβ, and so on.
once i could consistently get lap times in the first course of below 30s with the formula star or the bulk star, everything fell into place
for me the thing that really helped was going into time trials and really paying attention to what caused my cruising speed to drop around corners, and what didnβt. (eg mashing break has surprisingly little impact even with low acceleration vehicles like formula star)
you love to see it
Not to be too mushy, but work like your studiosβ is why Iβm in this industry. Canβt wait.

extremely βLingo (2021)β-coded post, I love it
(this is so not relevant, but) looking closely, i reckon the F is actually a folded out of view R as in ARMY
without being too specific, I loved - LOVED - the final minute or two before the cut to credits
Mo: Do you remember the first time you met someone who said they loved your work on Mega Man 2? Tateishi: Youβre the first, in 2013. No one else has. Mo: Wow. Iβm surprised. I donβt even have a follow-up questionβ¦ how could no one come up and say something. Tateishi: β¦ Mo: Now that you know how big Mega Man 2 is outside of Japan, do you look fondly back at the soundtrack? Tateishi: Yeah, my thoughts have changed since I met you and became more aware of how people felt. But even when I was at Konami, I didnβt even bother telling anyone I did Mega Man 2. So the fact you came all the way to Japan to tell me these things makes me very happy I worked on the game all those years ago.

the gascoigne runback in bloodborne always works for me. through the city gates, past the big guys, down the elevator, across the bridge with the flaming nonsense, and into the narrow back alleys. chefβs kiss
i camembert to go without these rich complex flavours
the question in the back of my mind here is βworse outcomesβ¦ for who? over what timespan?β
