I do reccomend this read and it helped pull me out of a terrible emotional slump. It's been absolutely delightful and I'm excited to have the chance to read more of this author's work.

The sex scenes were well written and honestly so refreshing to read gay male sex scenes written by a man for men. I'm sorry if that upsets some people. But I also feel that way when men write Sapphic sex scenes. There's always something missing and it never satisfies me. This absolutely satisfied me

About the world at large in this book. And that's the main reason this wasnt a perfect 5. I wanted a bit more tension and stakes, the stakes were insinuated but as a reader I felt I wasn't pulled into heart pounding suspense. I wanted more action. But there was plenty to make this a great read.

Look into different characters through environments. Again something I feel that is missing in a lot of modern writing. I am entirely remiss for environmental storytelling and description. I enjoyed the unique technology and the hints towards environmental collapse were intriguing. I am very curious
