A bright light shines just above Lucifer's head as if he's had an idea. It's me playing on the legend that Lucifer was the angel of light before his fall and expulsion from heaven. Epstein gave this sculpture a sexy, pert bum, for those of you interested in this sort of detail.

The title alludes to the book 'The Old Straight Track' by Alfred Watkins that posited lines of power in the landscape that he dubbed 'ley lines'.
