An update on my book:
Ozymandias' manuscript is nearly complete, and the only revisions I am making now are for art descriptions. Been working with a good friend of mine to create illustrations for characters and scenes, and I'll post some of that soon.
I love how cartoonishly evil Dedra and Cyril are as a couple:
D: Darling, should we eat children today, or shoot puppies?
C: Ugh! Shoot puppies---I hate the sounds the children make when you bite into them.
D: Don't worry, darling, you'll get used to it
C: *loading blaster* I sure hope not
The surprise comeback that wrestling needs is the time-traveling, mythological extravaganza that would be Smackdown Vs Ra
Goofy things you should engrave on a sword:
Fuck it, we ball

I'm still stuck in the bronze age, got no idea what irony even is.
I don't trust people that don't capitalize the first letter of their own name.
But arriving in the ruined system known as 1150 Red, the Monarch is immediately stranded and beset on all sides by the ghosts of a fallen human civilization...
The story will follow the crew of the UES Monarch, one of the last members of the military's exploration fleet, or ExFleet.
The crew of the Monarch travel to a dangerous corner of discovered space, chasing a thin rumor that a second earth has been discovered just beyond the edge of the map.
We journeyed to the stars to find ourselves in some great other. But without that other, without that mirror, we are lost.
And the same questions arise in a new context:
"Why are we here?"
"What's the point?"
"Are we alone?"
And I wanted to ask similar questions in an opposite environment--what is the place of humanity in a universe that has confirmed our isolation? What if the galaxy really is empty, and every planet we thought could hold life was actually as lifeless and dead as Mars and Venus?
Much of Star Trek is time spent musing about humanity's place in the wider universe, but I always found it curious how they have to contextualize themselves within a galaxy full of life--and specifically full of like that looks like humans, and in some cases are compatible.
I was originally inspired by the tone and feel of films like Alien and Bladerunner, but more specifically I wanted to use Ozymandias to respond to works like Star Trek that often utilize a vast array of humanoid aliens that populate the galaxy.
What is Ozymandias? Partly inspired by the Percy Shelley poem, Ozymandias is going to be a dark character study that explores human solitude, and our place in the universe.
In January, I will be starting into the 3rd and final editing run through the manuscript for my WIP, Ozymandias. I'm going to add some new scenes, make some final tweaks, read the entire thing front to back, and hopefully be able to submit it to a publisher.
I made the joke
I got too self conscious
I deleted the joke
Now I am the joke
I hate it whenever you watch a how-to guide and the person giving the explanation and it's a 60-year old handyman who's tag-line is "Don't worry, it's super easy, you can't possibly screw this up"
"My life is a joke" is way too edgy and overplayed - "My life has become the premise to a crappy, late 00s comedy film" is both extremely fly and far too accurate for its own good.
I've gotten to this point where documentaries and informational videos made by Youtubers are so well made and dense with information and a complete lack of wasted time that traditional cable TV documentaries are unbearably boring because they waste so much time on bs
Jedi Survivor is a masterpiece game, but I also think that I, and I think others in the fanbase, are sort of still waiting for the next RPG game that lets you create your own character and go on your own Jedi journey the way that KOTOR and Jedi Academy did.
From Starfield:
It's a WIP build but this is my ship: The Nebuchadnezzar, inspired by the Nebuchadnezzar from The Matrix.
Not totally sure what I want to do with a new account just yet, so we're starting off with a classic:
