Oil up by $12 a barrel in less than 12 hours.
Gas prices skyrocketing.
Almost 100,000 jobs lost last month.
Another war in the Middle East.
Are we great again yet?

Pretty difficult to refute a single thing in this perfect assessment of where the f**k we are, from @iandunt.bsky.social:
NEW: Clemency for Tina Peters would be unprecedented, based on my analysis of Gov Polis' 25 commutations. Peters hasn't shown remorse, taken accountability, or sought to restore harm. No Polis commutation was for a harsh sentence alone and Peters' would be the shortest by 30+ yrs
"This is about actual crimes happening in front of us. This is about shredding the Constitution and plunging us into war without so much as even adhering to Congress. This is about taking crypto money and money laundering...So if youβre asking me if Iβd support impeachment, I do."
Rep. AOC
As a Dodger fan, we love to see it.
Why?
How bout this for a middle-finger: entire Washington Post sports section now gone, save for 1 staffer moved to "features." The Post wanted to keep four sportswriters, but 3 of them rejected staying, instead joined raft of folks scooped by NY Times's @theathletic.com. www.nytco.com/press/the-at...
There will always be dumb ppl but ffs do we have to let them run the govt?!
Bessent: "The Spanish don't want to pay their fair share. And they said, 'Well, we've got the Pyrenees between us and Russia.' Well, the US has the Atlantic Ocean ... the Spanish put American lives at risk."
Bessent says the global tariffs will be raised to 15% "likely sometime this week," and adds "it's my strong belief that the tariff rates will be back to their old rate within 5 months"
Fetterman tried to answer questions from reporters yesterday and had a hard time to put it mildly
Voter suppression in Texas.

My dad and I used to joke that we were in the post-Ironic age 20 years ago. Holy shit, were we ahead of the times. lol
I dunno guys. I kinda feel like the administration overplayed their hand starting a war to distract from ICE to distract from the economy to distract from the Epstein Files...

The Declaration of Independence says that we not only have the right but we also have the duty to alter or abolish any government that does not secure our unalienable rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

for those of you who werent adults during iraq, its hard to overstate how much the media loves war porn. they salivate over pentagon spin briefings. they love stories about all the bombs and how supposedly infallible they are. they love the notion of the commander in chief, in the situation room etc
Thatβs just sad.
2025: βWe lost 2 home games in a row after having a lead in both of them to lose the World Series. What are we going to do next year to get better?β
2026: βWe hired a geriatric Max Scherzer to get us over the hump!β
While they did pick some good things to reference, this βcoverβ reminds me yet again how much i dislike that band.
Quote from Washington Times editorial board "[Radical liberals] don't realize that, when they express contempt for the man who holds the country's highest office, they reveal their contempt for the Americans who put him there."
Uh no...we definitely realize it.
He will but not in the way you think, Nancy.
Which will be a large weak spot in any future state where leftists have to create new institutions.
WELKER: If there is a war powers vote, will you be a yes?
SEN. MARK KELLY: Well, I'm gonna have to take a close look at it. I want to hear from the White House what their strategy is going forward. I would say at this point it's rather unlikely that I would be.
The judges in WV have seen enough.
They say that if the ICE continues detaining people in ways they have unanimously deemed illegal they will start issuing civil fines and contempt findings β including against state officials who help them carry it out.

The elected officials in the City of Los Angeles never fail to disappoint. The lengths they'll go to stop denser and more affordable housing near transit is beyond me. If you build transit, you need to build dense housing around it.
Donβt hold your breath, Mark. The refunds would go to the businesses that paid them. Will those businesses pass that money on back to you?
