Been furiously putting this together since I caught an idea Sunday. The sense of relief I feel that it’s basically assembled is amazing

I definitely think of art quilts as being less like a standard quilt and using wilder materials, non fabric materials, and would likely never warm a bed or lap. That being said, I consider my own designs art but maybe not “art quilts” as I would love any of them to be used off a wall.
