It is so demoralizing that this is incentivized in this country. That the systems we live under not only condone, but implore people to be the most heinously evil examples of our species, and they profit from it. They keep getting away with it. I really just can’t accept that version of our world.

It never gets any less infuriating or despairing to witness such horrific acts of cruelty, and to know that you live on the same planet as the vile people who make it all happen. No matter how many “unprecedented events” you live through, no matter how much history you read, it always stings.
