Same issue here in America as well. I have been telling everyone around me how great BEVs are. Their number one comeback is “I can’t afford one”. Then I tell them about how great a value used BEVs are. It quickly goes from “I can’t afford one” to “I can’t afford to not switch”.

There are plentiful options to generate/ harvest electricity. That’s the beauty of anything powered by electricity, but especially true for BEVs. You can power them in many different ways.
I honestly hope Apple launches a Duo branding. Releasing an iPhone Fold as the iPhone Duo, running iOS on the outter display and iPadOS on the internal display. iPad Duo would be the same but with iPadOS & MacOS.

“How do you recharge it if you lose power!” Well it’s unlikely the whole area lost power so I just go to a local DC charger. Let’s say a region wide blackout happens, then I can get a generator that can run on gas or propane. So I am still in a better situation than an ICE car.
This is why I think we should put the Epstein files on hold. Wait till we have a democrat majority in the house and senate so trump can’t play theses stupid games. We will make him and all other in the files pay when we have the power to do so.
