It's funny, I'm the same way. There's plenty of music I don't really care for, but most country music is almost uniquely unlistenable to me.
I do like a lot of folk music, and occasionally I'm astounded that I like a song despite thinking it is "pretty country-y".

I do like linen finish, especially a subtle one like most of ButtonShy's games. I like the linen Stonemeier rulebooks. I don't think I've come across linen that I thought detracted from the game.
